To be eligible for a place on the CWWSkills Training Programme, applicants must be:

a) a research postgraduate (MRes, MPhil, or PhD) at a UK higher education institution;


b) an early-career researcher with a PhD from a UK HEI and currently a UK resident.


For the purposes of this programme, "early-career researcher" is defined as per Arts & Humanities Research Council guidelines. To be classified as an early-career researcher, at the point of application you must be:

a) within eight years of the award of your PhD or equivalent professional training (this duration should exclude any period of career break, for example, family care or health reasons);


b) within six years of your first academic appointment (by 'first academic appointment', this is a paid contract of employment, either full-time or part-time, which lists research and/or teaching as the primary function
